JUDGES : ON THE BOOK

Hon’ble Mr. Justice Altamas Kabir, Judge, Supreme Court of India
" The book is a digest, dictionary, and encyclopedia, all rolled into one. It is a search machine similar to Google and must be in the shelf of each and every person associated with law. The book has material which provides instant knowledge."

Hon’ble Mr. Justice Dalveer Bhandari, Judge, Supreme Court of India
"In my view, this is for the first time in India or abroad that an author has included Legal Expressions in a compilation."

Hon’ble Mr. Justice D.K. Jain, Judge, Supreme Court of India
"The distinctive feature of this compilation is that it focuses only on Supreme Court rulings. Perhaps, it is for the first time that any author has incorporated ‘Legal Expressions’ in addition to ‘Words and Phrases’ to which new or additional interpretations have been given by the Court."

Hon’ble Mr. Justice Dipak Misra, Chief Justice, Delhi High Court
"The book tempts the law students to turn over from one page to another and to another. The cover of the book is good and the contents are excellent. It’s a book of beautility, which means a book which is beautiful and also useful."

Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sudershan Kumar Misra, Judge, Delhi High Court
"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence therefore is not an act but a habit. This applies to the effort put by the authors of the book."

HOW TO USE THE BOOK

The book works very simple – the words are compiled in alphabetical order with short meanings and also mentions the number of particular AIR or SCC volume with reference to the page which contains the defined explanation. The next thing one has to do is just to pick up that particular AIR or SCC from the library and open the referred page and find the desired meaning – Asian Age, October 17, 2010

Each word, phrase and legal expression has been arranged in an alphabetical order. This is followed by citations from the known law digests namely AIR, SCC, SCALE, JT, APEX, SCR etcetera. The numerical(s) in the bracket, after each citation refers to the paragraph number(s) wherein the exact Supreme Court interpretation exists – Authors, T.L. Garg, Advocate-On-Record, Supreme Courtof India & Rohan Garg, LL.M. (Utrecht), Advocate, Supreme Court of India
